The iron lions on both sides of the memorial archway were preserved in the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, more than 400 years ago. As the king of beasts, the lion was believed by the ancients to have the function of guarding against evil spirits. The characters on the pedestal are all the names of people who donated funds.
