The Zhengnan Gate in the imperial palace has a width of seven rooms and a depth of five rooms, with seven beams on top of the hall. It was burned down in the 33rd year of the Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty and rebuilt in the 9th year of the Republic of China, making it the latest building in the temple. It is a place where civil and military officials wait for the court, serve orders, offer sacrifices, issue orders, and issue edicts.
