This square was founded in the 48th year of the Wanli reign of the Ming Dynasty (1620 AD) and has a history of over 400 years. After the square, there is a pavilion called Fang Pavilion, also known as Men Pavilion. With four columns, three floors and three bays, the Jieyi Square is a wooden structure and glazed tile roof. The overall width of the platform is 16.44m, and the total height of the memorial archway Soul Tower is 11.88m. With ingenious structure and magnificent momentum, it is one of the most spectacular wooden buildings in the Ancestral Temple Scenic Area. On the back, there are four characters: "Mountain, Xiong, Water, and Broad". On the front, there is a title titled "Jieyi Garden", which is a solemn title for the governor of the state during the Qianlong period.
